LG Awesome end of year party

At the time of writing this, i am not sure how part of the PFM team ended up in an LG end of year party... but you will agree with me that this does not matter on the Unofficial blog. What matters is that the party was awesome!!!

If you missed this one, you need to be alert not to miss the next big thing. Here is a sneak preview of what transpired at Hotel African that evening. It was a good way to end the year! This event was also attended by Ministers, State ministers with lots of speeches and lots of other official activities.... not meant for this blog :-)
Yiiki and Company...

Cheers...

Richie, Prossie and Company...

All work without play makes Jack a dull boy

SOs racing like no man's business at sports beach
In an effort to play and keep fit; part of the PFM team with friends id est Richie, Dan, Eric, Norbert, et alia normally go to Nakasero Primary School ground for soccer, jogging and other physicals. Many other officials from other companies like this place because its always free and is in a good location.

At first we were determined to form fully fledged soccer teams and athletics teams but it became hard due to a limited number of participants. Other "teams" get support for such activities from their offices but these events are not funded by PFM, so it is our individual interests that drive these activities. DFCU in particular seems so equipped with people and resources(they have about 10 balls) so they intimidated in a way since we didn't even have a single ball...err a single football.

Anyway, we still go to Nakasero despite the small numbers. We have even sported a better location in Entebbe for games and sports. Sports beach. Thanks to Dan, we got a new football last weekend. Richard also likes swimming while Dan and Eric like walking in water. Until i loose my specs, i have put swimming on hold esp when it is shining.
sports beach games' day

I hope the games go on and i hope we also get a volleyball and more people to form a team. Remember, physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity(JFK).

Like Mahatma Ghandi said; It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.
